ARTUR PANEK / ENGINEERINGI build software, electronics and infrastructure.
Usually the interesting part is where they meet.
About me →SELECTED WORK
Public work you can inspect.
RuntimeTruth
Evidence-backed runtime verification and drift detection for AI agents.
HA Blast Radius
Read-only dependency and impact analysis for Home Assistant.
HA Forensic Lab
Runtime forensics and incident reconstruction for Home Assistant.
MailForensics
Evidence-driven tracing for outbound mail across applications, queues, filters and relays.
route-explain
Read-only Linux routing forensics backed by the running kernel.
ENGINEERING NOTES
How I reason about failure modes.
A config file does not tell you what an AI agent is actually running
Why declared configuration, resolved state and live evidence are different claims.
Why a route dump does not explain a routing decision
Policy routing, multiple tables and why the running kernel should stay the routing oracle.
Static dependencies and runtime causality are different questions
Why configuration references and incident reconstruction need separate evidence models.
What Postfix status=sent actually proves
Why next-hop acceptance is not the same claim as inbox placement.
WHAT I DO
A few different layers, one system.
01SoftwareWeb apps, APIs, tools
I build the application layer, the backend and the small bits of automation that make the whole thing useful.
02ElectronicsPCBs, embedded, interfaces
Boards, sensors, embedded devices and whatever hardware is needed to get the physical side working.
03InfrastructureNetworks, Linux, deployment
Servers, networking, monitoring and deployment — mostly the stuff that decides whether a project still works tomorrow.
ABOUT
I like understanding things end to end.
I am Artur Panek. I like projects where code, hardware and the systems around them have to work together. I care about making those systems understandable, debuggable and not needlessly complicated.
